What is Financial Management Services? (FMS)

This service is required for all Self Directing HCBS consumers under the State of Kansas Medicaid Waivered Programs. Each self directing consumer must choose a provider to provide the payroll and billing function in accordance with their approved Medicaid plan of care. The FMS provider will assist the consumer will billing of claims to Medicaid, payroll processing for their direct support worker and well as performing information and assistance as requested. The Home Team of Kansas is proud to announce we have been approved by the State of Kansas to act as a FMS provider for the FE (Frail and Elderly) PD (Physically Disabled) and TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury) Waivers.
